I speak to leaders, teams, and students about what actually holds up under pressure.
Not motivation. Not hype. But clarity of purpose, personal responsibility, and behaviours that don’t disappear when things get hard.
My work helps people understand why they do what they do and how that shows up in their decisions, their standards, and their performance over time.
When purpose is clear and standards are owned, resilience follows.
And high-performance becomes a habit.
Speaking about cultural diversity and sport at the Welcome Sport initiative for MDA.
Presenting on leadership and building resilience to the students of St Aidans school, Brisbane.
Jamie’s work on leadership and resilience comes from environments where standards are enforced, pressure is constant, and results decide everything.
Jamie left home at 15 to pursue professional football, representing England at youth level alongside players such as Wayne Rooney, James Milner, and Gary Cahill.
His career has been shaped by both early exposure to elite environments and the setbacks that followed, including returning to Australia with little more than $3,000 to his name before rebuilding his career to become one of the best goalkeepers in A-League history.
Voted the Hyundai A league goalkeeper of the year, winner of the prestigious Gary Wilkins Medal award, and Brisbane Roar Players’ Player of the Year.
Jamie is co-host of podcast, Life’s the Game, which reveals the story behind athletes. It conveys the human behind the competition in which they share their insights and experiences that are unique to their successes and failures.
Showcasing his academic background in sport science, Jamie has presented at the St Andrew war memorial hospital detailing his experiences of sport science in football.
Jamie is passionate about helping the future of Australia, his experiences has allowed him to empathise with people from many different cultures and it’s his vision to raise awareness and educate people who are seeking to better themselves in order to pursue their dreams .
